About Me

Meet Linda

The Register of Wills is essential for estate management because it is a main office that validates and archives wills, supervises probate, manages assets, and allocates property as per the will or state law, while also preventing loss, arguments, and slowdowns by checking documents and assisting executors.

What unique skills and perspectives will I offer in this role? I am pleased to share that I have had the most rewarding opportunities to explore a number of careers nationally and internationally in my lifetime. All of which have given me a worldview for the need for democracy, equity, and civility in all communities.

One of my careers I believe is most beneficial to this position is my experience working for the US Labor Department Administrative Law Judges, surrounded by the steady hum of legal discussions. Fueled by my love of education, I found myself working as an Education Program Specialist for the US Department of Education, a principal in multiple states, and was later elected to the PGC School Board. During my robust careers, I founded a consulting firm and collaborated with 863 for-profit and nonprofit groups, focusing on monitoring and evaluating initiatives for underserved communities at various government levels.

Community Outreach through Service

Serving county residents requires community outreach as the Maryland Register of Wills. I offer you my federal and state experiences, along with the confidence of 19 Prince George’s County organizations. At the state level, I am honored to have been appointed by Governor Wes Moore as a Board and Committee Member to serve on the Maryland State Commerce Public-Private Partnership Board and Committee. I was also delighted to accept appointments from Brooke Lierman, the Maryland State Comptroller, to serve on committees supporting new Americans, and faith-based leaders.
